The firmwares to be released with the update are a little different for each model with a total file size of approximately 6.5GB. As a part of the update procedure, the users have to connect to Wi-Fi, keep the battery at least 40%, and clear some space for the software before starting the process, Since the gutting has been confirmed by Xiaomi to be gradual and not all the users will get it at the same time.
With every new version, the HyperOS 3 has the main visual changes to show. The new Xiaomi HyperIsland feature displays active tasks live up at the top of the screen, thus providing smartphone users with different islands and floating windows for better multitasking like in Apple’s Dynamic Island. The lock screens now come with AI Cinematic Lock Screens and AI Dynamic Wallpapers, the icons have been redesigned to look modern with more vivid colors and smoother corners.
AI powered features are the main part of this release. Features offered by HyperAI are the image recognition of the screen, DeepThink mode, and enhanced speech recognition. AI Search offers the device user the briefest of summaries and it also has the capability to go through the files and media saved on the device.

Now, Xiaomi apps can be run on iPads, and the desktop-style windows of several mobile apps can be found on a Mac, while the Opens of the Xiaomi phone can be done through the Touch ID or Face ID of the Apple device, thus providing more interoperability.
The previous recipients of the HyperOS 3 upgrade have been Xiaomi 15 series, Xiaomi Pad 7 models, POCO F7 Ultra, and Redmi Note 14 Pro Plus 5G. Users of the newly eligible devices will get the update shortly; it is just a matter of weeks.
